  • Financial information: Payment details processed through our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
  • Transaction information: Order history, products purchased and returns information.
  • Customer-provided media: Physical 35mm slides or photographic negatives sent to us for personalised lithophane orders, and the working image files we create from them to make the panel.
  • Account information: Login credentials if you choose to create a customer account.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referral source.
  • Communications: Emails, messages, text messages or notes you send to us.

How We Collect Your Information

  • Directly from you when you place an order, send us a physical original, create an account or contact us.
  • Automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our site.
  • From service providers involved in running our store, such as Shopify, payment providers and analytics providers.

How We Use Your Information
We process personal data to fulfil orders, create personalised products, return customer-supplied originals, provide support, handle returns, meet legal obligations, protect our business and improve our services. We use consent where required for marketing and non-essential tracking.

Who We Share Your Information With
We may share information with providers needed to run our business, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers such as Royal Mail, and services used for product listings and site analytics. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

Data Retention & Media Security
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Order and financial records are typically kept for six years in line with UK tax obligations.

For a lithophane order, your physical 35mm slide or negative is returned with your finished panel. Working image files created from your original are deleted from our production systems within 30 days of delivery.

Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
